According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a 25-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on Sugarloaf Parkway late on Tuesday, May 17th 2011.  Debris recovered from the scene of the accident suggests that the vehicle was a late-model Dodge Ram, though authorities have not yet been able to discern the color.  The driver failed to stop after the collision and fled the scene.  Authorities are currently looking for leads as to the driver’s identity.
